Skilled in Bioinformatics, Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR), Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR), Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. He has a PhD focused in Genetics and Immunology from Harvard University.

Dr. Steinberg is an acclaimed cardiologist in Ventura, CA. He is the active Division Chief of Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura and works with Cardiology Associates Medical Group as lead doctor, and was the Co-Founder of Ventura Clinical Trials. Dr. Steinberg is board certified in Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac CT.  Dr. Steinberg also served as the key medical expert to testify in the Conrad Murray/Michael Jackson trial in 2011.
